Waldan Ponds Apartments
I’ve live here going on 2 years now and in the beginning there was a few things I thought could use improvement and writhing 6-8months of living here all those things were not only upgraded but also done in a timely manner with clear communication and dedication to residents. They have installed handicap parking. They have a park, pool, laundromat and a gym that is available during business hours . We have meetings , bingo nights and all types of interaction with the front office getting to know our neighbors and our staff. All maintenance requests are handled in a prompt time frame and truthfully I have nothing to complain about . I’m one happy resident .

Potential Residents Beware
It's taken nearly two weeks to get my lease agreement fixed and they still got it wrong. I just wanted them to add my dog to the lease since they missed it. You know, trying to do the right thing. They added my dog but changed the price of the original lease agreement. They increased the rent by $300 and removed the month I had comp'd for their move in deal. I understand additional pet fees and am more than willing to pay them. This is not that. They changed the price of rent after I had already applied, paid fees, been approved, acquired renters insurance, pet insurance and paid additional fees to have a pet screening through a partner company. All I wanted was the pet correction. I can never reach anyone at the office. I just get the run around at a call center. No one ever returns my calls. After trying unsuccessfully for a long time to get ahold of someone on the phone, I physically went to the office. It was completely empty, not a person to be seen for nearly twenty minutes. This may not seem like a long time, but it was weird. There was absolutely no one around for an extended period of time. I eventually walked out to the balcony and flagged down the new manager coming from the pool and got her attention. This whole process has just been frustrating. Also, previous reviews had improvements since Crystal, but she is gone. She is the one I originally worked with and she seemed terrific. She left during the process, and since then it seems like no one knows what they are doing. The new "office manager" can't seem to do anything without the help of corporate. Terrible, terrible experience so far. I am willing to update this review if they will honor the original lease agreement. I'm just exhausted at this point. As of right now, I feel like I just got hustled.

Bedbugs
This place is infested with bedbugs and they don't treat them properly (they say you brought them in and charge you $700 for a treatment they know doesn't work). I hired a lawyer to make a settlement out of court, and building my case I found evidence of multiple buildings being infested, and management being aware of this issue and continuing to use ineffective treatment and charging their tenants for it. You'll end up throwing half your stuff away and the other half will probably still have bedbugs that you may bring to your next place. I suggest you avoid this place like the bedbug plague that it is.
