Great community, horrible management
I lived at these apartments for 14 months. Great property, great location. However, things took a turn when I moved out. Not only did they not send me the final invoice in the alloted time by law (3 days), they also didn't send the final invoice to the forwarding address via USPS First Class mail, nor did they include the signature lines for me to dispute the charges. They also didn't allow me to walk the apartment as required as an option upon move out. After a handful of conversations and requests for them to follow GA law, they sent my account to collections. Please be warned as the property manager with 30 yrs experience (Donna) will pretend not to receive emails, etc. but don't let the actual lack of experience scare you away from the actual procedures/law. They will also label things as 'damaged' that are actually normal wear and tear, which is also against the law. You've been warned!

Apartment was not up to my expectations.
The unit was not thoroughly cleaned and painted. Upon moving in there were some minor repairs that should have been done before allowing someone to move in.The washing machine had to be replaced, the dish washer had to be repaired and the garage had a leak. On the positive the complex is clean, quiet and seemingly good neighbors.

Look for Non-MAA properties
Nearly unbearable during the summer due to AC not working and very poor attempts at repair. Difficulty in getting repair people to fix issues. Many stairs and cramped space. Difficult to go outside due to concern for safety. Tour looks nice but they certainly do not show you where you are actually going to live.
