1 Bedroom in Furnished House (10 Minutes from campus) (Sublet / Shared Housing)

This private bedroom is available in a townhouse just off Wade Green Road, approximately 10 minutes north of Kennesaw State University’s main campus. The home is currently occupied by two male roommates (ages 23 and 29) who are graduate students at... KSU. We are looking to rent out a spare room for a short-term lease, with flexible lease terms available as our current lease runs through June 1st. Move-in is available ASAP, and we are happy to coordinate a tour and move-in time that works for you.

The bedroom is approximately 12’ x 12’, has a standard closet with a door, and is unfurnished, though a queen bed frame is already in the room and available for use if desired. The room shares a full bathroom upstairs, as well as access to a community half bath on the main level. The shared bathroom is currently used by a very clean roommate, so we are ideally looking for someone who is respectful of shared spaces. If the renter is female, we are open to sharing the master bathroom between the current roommates so the renter would have their own private bathroom.

The townhouse is fully furnished throughout the common areas and includes an in-unit washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully set up and shared, as we cook often and keep the space clean. Parking is available in the driveway with plenty of room. There is also a small patio with built-in seating and a large backyard that feels enclosed due to neighboring fencing, along with a small fire-pit table.

Rent is $800 per month, with all utilities included. A $400 deposit is required, which is negotiable and will be applied toward the first month’s rent.

The household is generally quiet during the week due to school and clinical commitments, but we are also social and often have friends from class over for dinners, pickleball, or casual hangouts. Occasionally, guests may stay overnight on the downstairs couches. One roommate tends to stay up later while the other goes to bed earlier, so we simply ask for general respect regarding noise levels at night.

We are not looking for a clean freak, but we do clean up after ourselves and expect the same, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom. Smoking is allowed outside only. The home has two friendly cats who like to follow people around, but no additional pets are allowed. All cat food, litter, and supplies are kept out of the common areas.

We are ideally looking for a graduate student, undergraduate student, or young professional. A male roommate is preferred, but we are open to a female roommate if comfortable with the shared living arrangement described above. Read More
